Thank you to all members who joined in on the online webinar AGM.
Chris Stark, the CEO of the UK’s influential Committee on Climate Change spoke on the forthcoming sixth UK carbon budget and the opportunity for forestry and wood to play an increasing role in helping meet the UK’s “net zero” target by 2050. The two special resolutions to adopt new Articles of Association and Rules for the company were also approved and Confor will now progress with the establishment of an Advisory Board and Management Board.
