Consultation on Securing a Sustainable Future for Wales

In January, the Welsh Government set forward a White Paper intended to strengthen environmental governance in Wales.
This White Paper sets out proposals for a Bill to cover three key areas and invites views from interested parties:
- Embedding environmental principles into Welsh law;
- Environmental Governance, including the establishment of an environmental governance body for Wales; and
- A statutory targets framework to protect and restore biodiversity in Wales
