10.30 – 15.30 15th October 2019, Tall John's House, Llangasty, Brecon

On 14th December 2019 new Plant Health Regulations (EU) 2016/2031 (PHR) which impacts the movement of all conifers and Castanea species (including sweet chestnut) with bark, and Platanus species (e.g. plane) with or without bark come into force.

The Welsh Government in conjunction with the Forestry Commission have arranged two sector workshops to explain the changes to working practice and provide a platform for stakeholders to ask questions about the new regulations.

The workshop will also be an opportunity to discuss with stakeholders the latest tree health challenges facing forestry and the response to tree health issues such as Oak Processionary Moth in Wales and the UK.

This event is free of charge and is open to everyone. If you would like more information about this event please contact ForestryResearchCommissioning@gov.wales
