Rural Investment: Hopes and Fears for a New Era
The Scottish Land & Estates annual Spring Conference will take place on Tuesday 30th May at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.
It will provide an opportunity to reflect on what the future might hold for rural businesses. Speakers, who will include high profile politicians, policy decision makers, and rural business owners, will, in a mixture of talks and discussion:-
- Provide an insight into the future of the rural economy.
- Identify areas of potential investment
- Highlight examples of businesses that have overcome challenges or taken innovative approaches to improve business growth or resilience.
- Explore the implications of Brexit for rural businesses.
On the evening of 30th May, we will be holding our first Helping It Happen awards – celebrating the contribution made by farms, estates and rural businesses to their local area.
