TREE SURVEYOR – PART TIME 

Nicholsons are a family run business based near Banbury in Oxfordshire.  The forestry department is based at our tree nursery, alongside our landscaping department. 

Nicholsons offer a comprehensive forestry management and contracting service.  A significant proportion of our work is the undertaking of tree safety surveys mainly for woodland and rural estates. 

We are seeking an experienced Tree Surveyor who will play a key role in the continued development of this business stream. This position will be mainly home based and serving predominantly Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and North Oxfordshire. 

You will need to have a excellent knowledge of tree identification, tree physiology, pest and diseases.  HND or degree qualified in arboricultural or forestry, however other relevant experience will be considered.  You will also need to be qualified to Lantra Level 2 Professional Tree Inspection. 

Good Communication skills essential with a good understanding of MS Word and MS Excel. An understanding of GIS systems using a hand held data capture device an advantage.
