Rupert Pigot

Head of Policy 

Rupert is responsible for identifying, in consultation with members and staff key policy areas to influence. Working with stakeholders, he targets decision makers from Brussels, the UK government in Westminster, the Scottish Parliament and the Welsh Assembly to deliver a constructive framework for the forest and wood-using industry.

Working with the National Managers, Rupert brings a focus in each country tailored to the needs of the members. He is a member of the Cross Party Group at the Scottish Parliament on Rural Policy, administers the All Party Group on Forestry in Westminster and is setting up a Cross Party Group on Forestry at the Welsh Assembly.
