Jane Karthaus

Communications.

Jane takes various roles in communications, the biggest of which is editing the members' magazine, Forestry &Timber News.  She also compiles the monthly enews, prepares press releases and writes articles for the trade press and other publications (and encourages others to do so).  She is responsible for ConFor's presence at its own shows and events, but also produces material for other shows, such as the Royal Welsh Show.  Other miscellaneous tasks include various representative roles, mainly for ConFor in England and northeast England, helping with consultation responses and member enquiries.  As a trustee, she also administers the APF Education and Provident Fund on behalf of the trustees and ConFor.

Jane is based in Belford, Northumberland.
