UK Woodland Assurance Standard (UKWAS)ConFor has a leading role in the development of UKWAS. The Standard has been developed to provide certification for independent assessment of sustainable forest management in the UK.Link: http://www.ukwas.org.uk/
Wales Forest Business PartnershipThe Wales Forest Business Partnership is the business led partnership responsible for leading the development and strengthening of competitiveness of the wood industry in Wales. Wood for GoldThe wood industry has come together to campaign for a greater use of wood products on the London Olympic Games site, particularly in its stadiums, village and legacy housing to help the Games meet its overall sustainability targets, whilst staging a successful event.
