e-Business Forum
The e-Business Forum is aimed at encouraging forestry businesses to develop e-commerce strategies which will increase their competitiveness.

England Forest Industries Partnership
This is the group responsible for strengthening the competitiveness of England's forestry sector and helping to deliver the English Forestry Strategy.

The FEI aims to increase understanding and appreciation of the forestry industry - particularly among young people.

Forestry Commission
As the Government department responsible for forestry policy throughout Great Britain, the Forestry Commission and ConFor work together on numerous projects.

Naturally Wood
Working in partnership, ConFor is responsible for taking forward the industry's sustainability initiative. This initiative is aimed at promoting wood as a renewable and environmentally friendly raw material.

Scottish Forest Industries Cluster
The Cluster group works to strengthen the competitiveness of Scotland's forest industries.

Timber Transport Forum
ConFor is the managing partner of the Timber Transport Forum - a group which works to promote and develop solutions to improve the infrastructure of timber transport throughout Britain.

UK Forest Partnership for Action
This is made up of UK representatives in the areas of government, business and environment and aims to promote sustainable development both at home and overseas.

UK Parliament - All-Party Parliamentary Group on Forestry
ConFor provides the secretariat function for this cross-party parliamentary group.

UK Woodland Assurance Standard (UKWAS)
ConFor has a leading role in the development of UKWAS. The Standard has been developed to provide certification for independent assessment of sustainable forest management in the UK.

Wales Forest Business Partnership
The Wales Forest Business Partnership is the business led partnership responsible for leading the development and strengthening of competitiveness of the wood industry in Wales. It is led by the private sector with support from Forestry Commission Wales and the Welsh Development Agency.

Wood for Gold
The wood industry has come together to campaign for a greater use of wood products on the London Olympic Games site, particularly in its stadiums, village and legacy housing to help the Games meet its overall sustainability targets, whilst staging a successful event.
